POTENTIAL ENERGY AND KINETIC ENERGY.

Introduction:
The idea of energy is very important in our life. The energy does everything.
Without it we wouldd not move, breathe, fall. The mechanical energy can be kinetic
and potential.

Kinetic energy:
The kinetic energy is the energy of an object in motion. The motion of an object
make it possible for that object to do a work.

Potential energy:
The potential energy is the mechanical energy that a body has due to the position
of it. The potential energy also depends on the mass of the body:
The greate mass the more the potential energy.
The mass expressed in kilograms(kg) and the height in meters (m).
The potential energy is measured in Joules.

FOR EXAMPLE:

Hydroelectric power station:
A hydroelectric power station is where the potential energy of the water is stored
in a reservoir and it become transformed in kinetic energy. This kinetic energy
is necessary to move the turbine, and then transform it in electric energy.

Advantage.

• Once the dam is built,the energy is at not cost.
• It is pollution free.
• Electricity can be generated constantly.
